Price difference, What are the influencing factors?

Many buyers/customers will get different quotes while from different factories/companies with the same items. In this regards, buyers are often confused, not sure which factories/companies to choose, to cheaper prices, the quality might not very good. To choose the higher price, will reduce the profit and over their budget.

Here are the a few factors that caused prices different.

Factor 1, Customisation quantity, most  factories has their minimum order quantities. In general , order quantities are big, the cost of sharing is lower, factories will pass the profit on to their customers. But if you start with smaller quantity and of course the cost will be more.  So different factories accept different order quantity, more or less.

Factor 2, the cost of the labor, some factories have contracted workers and some don’t. Why do factories will have different situation? Bigger factories will have long term workers which they can keep the production running smoothly, and also to keep the quality, but that case their labor will cost more. Smaller factories, they don’t keep too much long term workers, just in case there will be a slack season.

Factor 3, Location. There are a lot of factories all over China, machinery factories mostly based in Northern China, and you will find fashion accessories and handbags factories are mostly based in South. If you find a factory in a right place and you will be able to get good prices. For example, Yiwu is an international trade city, it has lots of different type of small items, it’s a small item’s entrepot.

Factor 4, Technologies and production processes. Like our accessories stones and studs motifs, you will need manual work to produce, and it’s slower, so the mainly cost of the labor, but to some  items like with laser cut motifs, cut out from machine and faster delivery. Also to handbags, some factories have different technologies, for example, some they are good at making high quality products, you will not be able to get cheap prices, but some they are good at making standard quality ones, so you will get different prices. 

Factor 5, Quality of the hardware. Factories have connection with hardware factories, also hardware factories have quality standards as well. In this way, you will get different prices based on this matter.
